Price is determined by the following factors:
Level of difficulty: language pair and whether the source text is general language or contains specialised terminology
Extent of the job (calculated from the source text)
Time of delivery
Certification by an authorised (official) translator is charged separately (10 euros in 2009)
The primary basis for pricing is a standard page of 1,560 characters (including spaces). For other services than translations, the price is defined according to the estimated number of hours to complete the work.
The language pair affects the level of difficulty – and thereby the price – of the job in two ways. First, translation into a foreign language is naturally more demanding than into your own mother tongue. Second, translations into any foreign language are always checked by a translator who is a native speaker of the target language (see section Co-operation Network), and who receives a due part of my fee. This ensures that the translations are of the best possible quality.

Mode of delivery
The fastest and most convenient way to deliver source texts, translations and other materials is to send them as files by e-mail. If you wish, however, I can deliver the finished translation printed on paper or saved on a CD by ordinary mail.
Terms of delivery
CapriCommunications observes the General Terms of Contract for document translators drawn up by the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters.
